Synopsis

A frantic man tries to buy a single dumpling from a customer who bought the last batch of the best dumplings in town. Meanwhile, a character reveals themselves as the older brother of someone recently murdered and vows revenge, his arrival interrupting the plotting of other characters. The story flashes back to show the world was conquered by a demonic cult following a great war, with the old orthodox faction now in hiding. The chapter ends with a man looking for the fabled dumpling shop.
