Synopsis

The chapter reveals the origin of the 'Darkness of the End' as an expelled power from the protagonists' past selves, created during their regression process. This power, if gathered again, could destroy the world. They resolve to investigate the other instances of the Darkness and set out towards Derarth, a place associated with past necromantic events. During their journey, they are attacked by a low-level necromancer and his wraiths, who they easily defeat and interrogate, further clarifying the nature of the 'authority' tied to the apocalypse.
