Synopsis

The chapter sees the protagonist promoted to captain of the TH division in the Kings Order due to his contributions. Simultaneously, the Kings Order investigates a cult, uncovering a potential connection to a member of the royal family. The protagonist also recognizes that the rules of magic are changing: The 'Darkness of the End' allows magic users to use both their original powers and necromancy, without drawbacks, opening the door for rapid power growth across the land. He exploits this knowledge for personal gain, all while working within the Kings Order.
