Synopsis

Penelope is invited to a luncheon at the greenhouse, a place associated with the Duke's deceased family, where she observes the hidden favorability gauges of those present. The Duke suddenly announces that a family portrait will be painted for Penelope's upcoming birthday, which she realizes will coincide with the return of the real princess and the end of the game's 'hard mode,' possibly resulting in her death. Desperate and in shock, Penelope brushes off gift suggestions, secretly yearning for a way to return to her own world before her doom.
