Synopsis

The chapter opens with the Crown Prince offering the protagonist his enchanted cape, before he is suddenly attacked by assassins and seemingly falls off his horse. While the prince is surprisingly uninjured thanks to a medallion gifted to him by her, the situation escalates quickly as the protagonist gets caught up in the attack. She is forced into accepting a system quest to protect the prince, despite trying to avoid involvement, with a hefty favorability reward being dangled as bait.
