Synopsis

The chapter opens with the young master confronting Penelope about her recent behavior and taking her on a physically demanding mountain climb as punishment. During the climb, Penelope observes the city at night, which was unavailable in the game, allowing her to reflect on how her anxiety always kept her from appreciating her surroundings. Upon witnessing pickpocketing, they have a heated exchange that reveals Penelope’s guilt and secret search for someone she owes from the Imperial Palace.
