Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist and children facing trouble for entering a restricted area. They explain they were just using the protagonist's expertise in relic extraction for a difficult assignment. The organization's leader apologizes and reveals he's a magician with the power to erase memories. Instead of wiping the protagonist's memories, he proposes a deal in exchange for their silence about his secret, offering them free information they seek.
