Synopsis

Eclis doesn't return from his swordsmanship training, leading the protagonist to suspect he used the training as an excuse to escape. However, she hesitates to use the tracking spell due to her feelings for him. When Eclis finally returns, he explains his absence was due to a monster attack in a nearby slave settlement. He had been helping fellow Delmain slaves and injured citizens, revealing his selfless nature.
