Synopsis

The chapter unveils that the Leilan tribe, not magicians, are the true antagonists, using stolen magic and 'life force' to gain power and frame magicians, leading to their persecution. The protagonist learns that Valta was actually built by Leilans and not magicians, the opposite of what she was told. She and Vinter are ambushed in a cave trap and she is forced to fight a swarm of enchanted creatures, and then a gigantic boss, before Kallisto arrives to help her.
