Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist and her group accepting a quest and teleporting to Tratran, a devastated port city far from the capital. There, they witness the harsh realities of war by volunteering to provide food to war orphans. The protagonist is then confronted by the complexity of the situation as they realize many children are taking extra portions of food to hoard, or are handing it over to gangs. The chapter ends with the protagonist observing the suffering of the children, and feeling the weight of the grim circumstances.
