Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist easily dispatching assassins, revealing his proficiency with various weapons and magic while holding back his strongest tools. He then decides to continue his journey, accompanied by a companion he's initially considering abandoning due to the companion's ineffectiveness. The group bickers over the practicality of carrying a large amount of equipment, before ending with a flashback to the past life of one character, lamenting his lack of a cape.
