Synopsis

The chapter opens with Eugene dealing with the misunderstanding that he was being summoned for an arranged marriage with Ciel, which is quickly clarified. Kion Lionheart, the patriarch's younger brother, arrives and offers to adopt Eugene into the main family, further confusing the young protagonist. Additionally, Eugene is given a necklace, which he recognizes as one from his past, further complicating matters as the official examination claims it's only 100 years old and the mystery grows as to why the necklace is different to what he remembers.
