Synopsis

The chapter opens with a character named Somi being left to fish while the main character leaves. It is then revealed that Somi is actually a thief who was caught and is now in debt to the main character. He is being forced into servitude, performing chores while simultaneously planning his escape and attempting to retrieve the stolen golden Buddha statue. The chapter ends with the main character leaving the thief alone, but only after a conversation that hints at knowing the thief's intentions.
