Synopsis

The chapter begins with discussions of a manor massacre, initially thought to be the work of the Sword Emperor. However, evidence of demonic arts suggests a demonic cult is responsible. A powerful figure, seemingly unrelated to the Sword Emperor, unleashes a destructive technique, leaving the manor in ruins. The chapter concludes with the reveal that subordinates sent to investigate have lost contact and that the damage was not caused by the Sword Emperor's style of martial arts.
