Synopsis

The chapter opens with a character being interrogated about his knowledge of the Martial God and the graves of the Three Skies, with accusations of him being a descendant or the Martial God himself. Later, an old man, who is seemingly part of the family, reveals he is dying from a mysterious internal energy loss and expects to pass within a year, despite his family wanting him to go back home. The chapter ends with the family trying to come to terms with his impending death and a realization of a potential cure.
