Synopsis

The chapter opens with a defeated antagonist swearing never to cause trouble again. Following this, it shifts to a marketplace where the protagonist and another character discuss the capture of bandits and the vanquished antagonist. The protagonist then reflects on needing funds for his child. Later, the antagonist witnesses a display of power that shatters his sword and his subordinates, prompting him to flee while the protagonist is compelled to chase him to ensure the manor issue is truly resolved.
