Synopsis

The chapter opens with the discovery of the wise monk Yakjoong's body, ruled as a suicide by the authorities, however, the Wind Sword Sect leader refuses to believe this and claims the monk was murdered by the people of a nearby manor. Despite warnings to stay away, the sect leader declares war on the manor, and we see the manor's defender, wearing a familiar mask, prepare to face them. This chapter sets the stage for a major conflict.
