Synopsis

The chapter opens with news of a brutal attack on a government facility. All imprisoned criminals are killed or dying, and the magistrate has vanished. Citizens speculate about the Black Faction’s involvement while others form search parties. Meanwhile, a man observes the magistrate's daughter and introduces himself, while elsewhere, a group questions the lack of contact with their agents, suspects they might be dead despite their mission, and makes plans to confront the Black Faction, leading to the protagonist encountering bandits.
