Synopsis

The chapter begins with a messenger revealing the Demonic Cult's kidnapping of the Poison Dragon Pavilion Master, while a group discusses the Cult's presence in the Ailao Mountains. The Tang Clan plans to exploit the mountains for herbs, allying with the Beast Palace against the Demonic Cult, unaware of the kidnappings. A confrontation is set up as the Demonic Cult deliberately instigates conflict and demands that the Beast Palace Master comes to them, while the Palace Master is furious but held back from impulsive action as he realizes the hostage situation. The Northern King's son is revealed to be involved with the Demonic Cult.
