Synopsis

The Third Young Lord surprisingly offers valuable knowledge to a character, driven by a sense of empathy for a person deemed precious by his benefactor, refusing to make a deal based on someone's life. Simultaneously, another character named Anghwa is manipulated by another individual into a forced agreement involving a slow-acting poison insect and a promise of an antidote in exchange for information about the Third Young Lord's activities. Finally, the chapter flashes back to when the Third Young Lord, then an assassin named Chun Hajin, saved two girls after a mission gone awry, revealing a past instance of attempting to be compassionate while being met with hatred in return.
