Synopsis

The chapter opens with the protagonist reflecting on his reliance on his special healing ability "Ashen Blood" to progress. After completing a challenging floor, he receives a barrage of messages from Admins, many of whom express awe and disbelief at his abilities. He theorizes these messages are a way for non-contracted Admins to gain favor as the system expands. Towards the end, he gains a new power and has his stats amplified by absorbing the spirit of another challenger, which allows him to use "Divine Power", and reflects an enemy's attack.
