Synopsis

The chapter reveals a town plagued by a mysterious illness and corrupted energy, tied to the maiden's brother's alignment with an evil god. The townsfolk demand that the maiden reveal his location, but she hesitates, hoping to convince him to return. Han Sungyoon, the protagonist, chooses to temporarily purify the land using a powerful divine ability, sacrificing his own life force in the process to give the maiden time.
