Synopsis

The chapter opens with a character warning the protagonist about the Tower's attempts to control him, emphasizing that his choices are his own. Following this, the protagonist is attacked by the Vigilante Corps, who were informed of his location by a betrayed ally. This attack forces the protagonist to activate a new power and he receives a powerful magical artifact. He is encouraged to break free from the destiny the Tower has laid out for him.
