Synopsis

The chapter begins with a cryptic exchange regarding helping someone, leading to Yan and his companion arriving at a bar. There, they encounter a drunken noble, Cruel, who is causing trouble. Yan intervenes, easily defeating a group of mercenaries and then seemingly earning the favor of the bar patrons. Later, Yan is revealed to have used a purifying crystal powder to subdue Cruel's aggression while Cruel experiences a moment of introspection regarding his family, which he never felt appreciation from, contrasting with the acceptance he experienced that night. Yan's companion is shocked by the expense of the powder.
