Synopsis

Following a chaotic escape incident and a battle with a Lich, a low-ranked trainee, who was thought to be just lucky, is questioned by Captain Rodrigo, who finds him suspicious after discovering all other escapees were eliminated, including the pursuit squad. The trainee, later revealed to be capable of absorbing mana, battles the Lich during a domain expansion attempt, ultimately overpowering him by absorbing his mana with his 'Mana Heart'. The chapter ends with the Lich defeated, showing some potential for the trainee.
