Synopsis

The chapter opens with Urich reminiscing about his earliest memory in a meadow before he was taken in by the Rock Ax Tribe. He reflects on how he grew to be a strong warrior. Now, Urich prepares to lead an army to war, having been gifted an Empyrean steel weapon as a coming-of-age present, and strategizes with a companion on how to approach the upcoming conflict, revealing he has "borrowed" an army from the Emperor. Despite the looming conflict, Urich also discusses his desire to travel, indicating a long-term ambition beyond the war.
