Synopsis

The chapter opens with a seemingly out-of-place character arriving in a new, foreign land. He is immediately confronted by locals, leading to a display of his incredible power when he kills a man by twisting his neck. The locals, realizing he doesn't speak their language, take him to the nearby city of Ankara. There, they begin to speculate about his origins and then introduce him to the local fighting ring and offer him a chance to earn money by fighting, while warning him against killing.
