Synopsis

The chapter reveals the protagonist's awareness of the Viscount's manipulative actions and his father's knowledge of them. The protagonist, now significantly stronger, forces the Viscount, a circle mage, to become his student, exploiting the Viscount's unstable and corrupted magic circles. He explains the Viscount's circles are unstable due to a flawed connection and reveals the Viscount was slowly dying from this, then proposes to absorb the Viscount's wild ring mana to 'heal' him. This act serves as a way for the protagonist to gain mana while weakening the Viscount.
