Synopsis

The chapter reveals that a powerful player, Hakan, attacked a village near a temple, seeking a kingdom token, and contaminated the villagers. The lone survivor, initially found by the adventurer group, explains the situation and how he was afflicted by Hakan's contamination. This contamination seems to turn people into crazed beings, fixated on objects or money they possess, and reacting aggressively. The adventurers learn that the village was lively before the attack and that the antagonist, Hakan, is also known as a top ranker with the title "Royal Road’s Most Influential Player."
