Synopsis

Yoon's mother encourages him to investigate his father's disappearance by playing Arcana Fantasy, a game his father logged into before vanishing. Yoon enters the game and discovers it uses advanced technology to trap players' consciousness within their avatars, essentially separating their minds from their bodies. He learns that he cannot log out and must clear the game to return to his own body, with the added danger of permanent consciousness erasure if his in-game character dies. The chapter also reveals that the company behind the game, Hive Go, controls much of the world's technology and is advancing neural research.
