Synopsis

The chapter opens with Moriarty's mysterious arrival and subsequent confrontation by remnants of the Red Society. He deflects accusations and reveals his intention to start a new venture, promising wealth and protection while acknowledging his own past. Moriarty then proposes an elegant business of theatrical performance. He also presents a detailed plan for a ready-to-wear clothing business targeting the common people, and reveals to a potential ally his knowledge about her magic to secure her trust, along with a reveal about the origins of his own magical scar.
