Synopsis

This chapter explores the Grand Commander's morally questionable, yet effective, mind control ability, highlighting the lengths they'll go to for victory. Meanwhile, Adesh, frustrated by their inability to wield mana properly, undergoes a risky procedure led by Professor Jarodin to extract all their stored mana. This extraction triggers a temporary surge in their Shadow Mana and a display of its raw power as Adesh is tasked with calming the raging test subjects which they succeed in doing. The chapter ends with the promise of Adesh learning to control this new power, hinting at significant character development.
