Synopsis

The chapter opens with a confrontation where the protagonist is offered a time-traveling orb by the Grand Commander. Upon using it, he is transported to the past, where he witnesses a group of bullies harassing a child, who they are levitating using magic. The protagonist recognizes the bullies as people he knew from the future, and realizes he has traveled back in time. He is alarmed at the child's situation, recognizing the rare magic being used, and feels conflicted about his past choices.
