Synopsis

The chapter begins with the characters being assigned to find Baek Hyehyang and locate the Blood Demon Sword. However, the sword's true location is revealed to be a carefully orchestrated trap, designed to lure out the Blood Cult and solidify the Murim Alliance. The first general strategist of the Murim Alliance is shown to be a master manipulator, using misinformation and strategic leaks to test and control events. The chapter ends with the characters realizing the deceit and adjusting their plans, considering both the trap for Baek Hyehyang and the larger implications for the Blood Cult.
