Synopsis

Initially granted entrance by a Murim Alliance member, the protagonist's group is interrupted by the Johang Song Clan who try to bypass the line. This leads to an interrogation by a subordinate of the Fifth Blood Star, who reveals that someone is trying to sabotage the protagonist to prevent him from marrying a woman named Baek Hyehyang. The subordinate is then killed for acting outside orders, and the protagonist pieces together more of the conspiracy. Finally, the chapter ends with the martial competition beginning the following day.
