Synopsis

The protagonist is summoned by Madam Yang, who reveals her desperation to protect her son's position and offers money and a comfortable life for him to back down. However, he confronts her with her past attempts to poison him and seeks revenge for his mother’s mistreatment. Afterwards, he meets with some martial artists who are acquainted with his master, where they establish a respectful relationship. He then meets the patriarch and requests to be the family representative for the upcoming competition, despite past familial neglect and mistreatment, and stays in the guesthouse under surveillance.
