Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist meeting Han Jisang, the Flying Blade Assassin King. They then get ambushed and captured by a strange, monstrous martial artist. While held captive, the protagonist deduces the monster's weaknesses and discovers its strange fear. Exploiting this, he prepares to use his innate core energy in a counterattack, revealing that he is the successor to the Southern Heaven Swordsman when the monster recognizes his sword.
