Synopsis

The chapter starts with the end of a warrior selection ceremony where the results disappoint one of the leaders. Then, a new squad commander from the Hu Zong arrives and takes charge of the new recruits from the Old Mountain County, prompting a move from a cave to better accommodations. A mysterious character approaches the protagonist to question him, revealing knowledge of his past and finally a hidden strength through a demonstration of a powerful palm technique and agile footwork, surprising everyone present. It's revealed this secret palm technique is a powerful one from a different faction altogether, thus creating more tension.
