Synopsis

The chapter begins with the protagonist encountering a powerful swordsman who frees him and then makes a bizarre claim that he's doing the protagonist a favor by manipulating his energy flow. The swordsman grants the protagonist a unique power-up and warns him about someone with a golden eye before vanishing. Back at home, the protagonist learns his grandfather is recovering. The grandfather reveals that he knew the truth about his daughter being alive and that the protagonist's true father is not who he thought it was.
