Synopsis

The protagonist orchestrates Jang Ho's recommendation as Demonic Army Commander, using the Blood Heaven Sword Demon's influence to achieve this. Simultaneously, the protagonist reveals their plan to use and discard the Blood Heaven Sword Demon, viewing him as a tool rather than an ally. A late-night encounter with an advisor reveals that the advisor is aware of the scheme and asks the protagonist to reject the recommendation to accomplish a separate goal that benefits both him and the protagonist, putting the protagonist's intentions at odds with the advisor's plan.
