Synopsis

After a tense confrontation, the protagonist is unexpectedly accepted as Duke Draker's apprentice. The Duke reveals his past as a Black Knight before admitting to knowing the protagonist's identity and intentions. The chapter shifts to the protagonist's acceptance and the beginning of his training, which is abruptly halted when the Duke reveals he knows the protagonist doesn't possess any aura. This suggests a deeper problem the protagonist is hiding.
